Thomas McCloy wishes to thank all who so generously sponsored his cycle ride from Korea to Dreenan! (That's 9,600 miles by push-bike!!!)
The organisation he was supporting is called KIVA.
It's a bit like our Credit Union - it loans money to very poor people in the developing world to enable them to improve their fields and to buy chickens and a few other animals to help them feed their families.
The borrowers gradually repay the loans and the money is then loaned out again to assist more people.
It's a very worthy cause.
