Monday: Saint Margaret of Scotland.
Margaret (1045 -1093) was the wife of Malcolm the Third, the King of Scotland By her example and influence Margaret helped greatly with the reform of the Church and the strengthening of the Faith of her people.
Tuesday: Saint Elizabeth of Hungary,
Elizabeth (1207 -1231) was Queen of Hungary. A woman of prayer and of great service to the poor.
Wednesday: The Dedication of the Basilicas of Saint Peter and Saint Paul in Rome.
We're all familiar with Saint Peter's because it's inside the Vatican, beside where the Pope lives. Saint Paul's is further away, across the city.
Saturday: The Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the Temple in Jerusalem.
The old Jewish Law said that all babies should be "presented9 to God in the Temple. So we know that Mary's parents would have carried out this little ceremony for their new baby, (Just as years later Mary did the same for her own infant Son),
