As a result of their recent fiftieth Wedding Anniversary Get Together
Tommy and Chelly Shivers, Rocktown, have donated £700 sterling to Father Magill.
They sincerely thank all who contributed to it.

Father McLaughlin gratefully receives a cheque from Mrs
McWilliams for £5,600 pounds
The money will go towards Parish Funds especially for Chapel repairs.
On Friday the 28th of June 2002 a barbeque and dance was held
in a newly built shed owned by Gerard McMullan. The Parish and the Fund
Raising Committee is indebted to Gerard and his family for organising a very
successful and enjoyable night.
A magnificent sum of £5.600 pounds was raised for Parish Funds.
The Fund Raising Committee would like to thank everyone who helped in any way.
Along with the ongoing weekly Parish Draw which last year raised approximately
£29,000 pounds there will be other fund raising events coming up during the
year. Look out for press details.
I thank a former parishioner, now living in England for a kind donation of £200 to our Parochial Funds.
"The Swan Song" in the Pavilion was
a great success.
I thank the cast, the organisers and all who sold tickets and helped in various
ways and all of you for your support.
The total raised for the Parish was £2,653

wish to thank everyone who supported
and gave donations to its recent fund-raising event in the pavilion, "The
Weakest Link".
A very special thank-you goes to Bezi Convery and Geraldine McGill for the sum
of £500.
The total raised was £1,890.
